S-cut refers to the process of presenting an S-shaped cut. The S-cut left and right sticker is a structure on a diaper, which is a form used to fix the action buckle, also known as Velcro. It is different from another form of PP sticker, which is also a left and right sticker.
PP sticker is scraped on PP film.
Compared with PP stickers, the S-cut hook tape has the following advantages:
Zero waste — the S-shaped cutting process produces no waste material, maximizing raw material utilization and reducing production cost.
More firm than PP stickers;
Its buckle is not affected by the season, while the PP patch will be affected by temperature and humidity;
Its appearance is very beautiful, the noise is relatively small, so it is more favored by customers.
In its structure, the magic hook is used to lap the front waist sticker, and the ear patch is glued to the body of the diaper. When laminating this material online, there are two places where hot sol is required: the first is the magic hook, which must be glued on the composite layer; and the second is the ear sticker part, which must be glued to the diaper. The composite layer is generally a 2~3-layer structure, and the 3-layer structure is: nonwovens, elastic films, and nonwovens.
The online composite process of S-cut left and right stickers is as follows: first of all, the magic hook roll scraping, about 20~60μm thick, and after fitting with the ear patch coil, S-shaped cutting is carried out. After cutting, it will be divided into 2 consecutive left and right stickers, scrape or spray 10~25μm on one side of the ear sticker, and then cut and divide into two sides, and paste on the nonwovens on both sides of the diaper. The other side of the ear patch is sprayed with glue, and the surface nonwovens that have been glued are compounded to complete the online process.
Glue spraying (fiber and spiral): uneven glue spraying, easy to reduce the amount of glue, relatively weak adhesion;
Glue: the distribution of glue is uneven, the local strength is high, the glue line is too late, it is easy to seep to the other side of the nonwoven;
Scraping: the glue covers a large area and is evenly glued.
