LONSUN
This PE film is made for the individual wrap on sanitary napkins and panty liners. It is the layer between your product and everything else: it keeps the pad dry and hygienic before use, and it carries your brand on the shelf.
Feminine care converting puts specific demands on a wrapper. It has to seal at line speed without burn-through, peel open without tearing the pad underneath, and stay soft enough that the rustle does not announce itself in a quiet bathroom. Generic packaging film often fails on one of these points. This grade is formulated around all three.
| Parameter | Standard Range | Notes |

| Surface | Silky texture / micro-embossed | Non-siliconized embossed options available |
Compliance note: We do not publish figures for MVTR, tensile strength, or elongation without third-party test reports tied to your order specification. If your QA team needs certified data, ask for a lot-specific technical data sheet with your inquiry.
Seal performance is the first thing converters ask about. This film is designed for a consistent heat-seal window on horizontal form-fill-seal equipment. Generic films tend to cause jaw sticking or weak seals once cycle rates climb. This grade holds a stable window, which cuts downtime and reject rates on high-speed lines.
The opening experience matters more than most suppliers admit. A wrapper that tears down the middle or delaminates when the consumer opens it reads as cheap, whatever the pad inside costs. Peel force on this film is balanced to open cleanly at the sealed edge and still survive packing, shipping, and shelf handling.
For printing, the film takes up to 8-color rotogravure or flexographic work, so brand marks, variant coding, and usage instructions come out clean. In markets where discretion drives the purchase, high-opacity white or colored film keeps the pad hidden until opening.
Standard PE remains the workhorse of this category, and most buyers should start there. If you are building a sustainability claim, we can discuss bio-based PE or reduced-thickness downgauging. We will not overstate biodegradability without certified documentation, and we would rather tell you a film is not ready than sell you a claim your market will challenge.
Compatibility: For sanitary napkins and panty liners in individual wrap configurations.
Converting: Runs best on cast or blown film lines with controlled tension. Co-extruded structures are available where you need to balance stiffness and softness.
Storage: Keep in original packaging below 30°C, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. PE film can yellow or block under prolonged UV exposure.
Shelf life: We recommend using material within 12 months of production under proper storage. If stock is older than that, re-test seal strength before running it.
LONSUN supplies packaging film to feminine hygiene converters. Our production runs on multi-layer co-extrusion lines in Quanzhou, and every order ships with lot traceability. The technical contact you deal with works on converting issues, not just film sales.
Send your specification: thickness, width, seal finish, print colors, and estimated monthly volume. We will come back with a quotation and a sample timeline. If you are comparing structures, we can also quote co-extruded options that combine release, seal, and print performance in one web.
Technical data reflects typical industry ranges for PE single-wrap films. Final specifications are confirmed against your order requirements and applicable test methods. Certifications vary by production site; request compliance documentation for your destination market.

“Certified” is an incomplete purchasing specification. A certificate might describe a company’s management system, a test report might describe one sample, and a regulatory status might apply only to a particular finished product and intended use.
A roll can arrive on time and still be unusable if its edges are crushed, its wrap is punctured or its dimensions no longer suit the converting line. Bulky hygiene materials also consume freight space that a weight-only purchasing comparison misses.
A low quotation can become expensive when rolls break on the line, a substitute material changes fit, or documentation cannot be matched to a shipment.
