SMMS nonwovens are composite nonwovens made of polypropylene (PP) with a multilayer structure. The ‘SMMS’ in its name stands for its hierarchical structure: the top layer is spunbond, the middle layer is meltblown and the bottom layer is also spunbond. The material's production process gives it excellent breathability, filtration and strength.
