V. Exhibition Introduction

Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia, a member nation of ASEAN, and the fourth most populous country globally. In recent years, the country has experienced political stability and has shown great market vitality due 

to its friendly relations with China. China is one of Indonesia's main importers, with the import totals from China accounting for 10.9% of the total, showing a year on year rise. As the world's 9th largest pulp producer and 11th largest 

paper product producer, Indonesia's total pulp capacity is 7.9 million tons annually, with paper production capacity at 12.17 million tons. Almost 100% of the papermaking machinery and equipment used in Indonesia are imported. 

According to the USDOC International Trade Registration Commission, nearly 100% of the pulp and paper machinery and equipment used in Indonesia are imported and assembled in local factories. There are no paper machine 

manufacturers locally; most pulp and paper factories in Indonesia have only established maintenance parts workshops.
